Backpacking trip

So now the time has come for the weekend of the backpacking trip, and I can honestly say I am not prepared for it at all. I am currently really sick, and I can barely talk, and I am about to go freeze my butt off in the snow, rain, and whatever comes our way this weekend. Now normally I wouldn't be complaining but the fact that I am sick just makes me miserable to think about this weekend. I hope this advil pays off by the time we leave on saturday morning because I don't need to talk this cold with me on the trip. I need to be in tip top shape for this trip, or else I'll be paying for it next week!

The backpacking trip is for Outdoor Pursuits, correct? I went on the trip early last semester when the weather was descent. The experience was unlike any camping trip or outdoor adventure I had taken part of. The mountains are very interesting and some of the boulders that lay on the hills are immense. There are even caves and deep coves cut into the rocks which were probably used in early times by ancient people. When my class was in the woods, many of the people were stung by bees, so sickness probably will not be too inconvenient. Mr. Smith does a good job making sure his students are in good condition and out of harms way. The trip is fun. I am sure you will enjoy it.
